Semen Freezing

We offer semen freezing, and on site storage of frozen semen.

Dr. Morgan typically schedules one day of semen freezing per month. To get on a wait list for a semen freezing appointment please call 267 - 253 - 9077.

 

Please note, due to the demand of these appointments and the supplies we must prepare for the appointments, all clients who miss their appointments without calling to cancel will be charged a $100.00 no call/no show fee.

To freeze semen be prepared with the following information: 

• A negative brucellosis test. If you do not have a completed negative test from the last six months we will complete a test before collection.

• Relevant medical paperwork (example: medical records, vaccination records, etc.)

• Minimum breed specific health testing. If you are unsure of what the minimum tests for your breed are, please schedule a reproduction consult appointment with us to discuss necessary steps before you pursue reproductive care. You can find out more by clicking here.

• AKC DNA profile. If you have not completed an AKC DNA profile you can find out more by clicking here.

• Please let our staff know at the time of making the appointment if your dog is able to be safely handled for collection.
